Krohne’s Optisonic 7300 universal ultrasonic gas flowmeter is for process gas applications in process and auxiliary measurements in oil and gas refineries, the chemical and the petrochemical industry. The Optisonic 7300 is a 2-beam ultrasonic flowmeter that has a wide bi-directional flow range of ± 30 m/s (± 90 ft/s) with high accuracy. It uses titanium transducers and features a maintenance free full bore flow sensor and an overall sturdy and robust construction with no cables or sensitive parts exposed. The maintenance free design with no moving parts in the flow sensor and the wide range of applications make using the device particularly cost-effective. The Optisonic 7300 also provides calculation to standard conditions by using the input of temperature and pressure sensors which can be directly connected to the device. Modbus, Foundation fieldbus and HART are included for field communication.
