E-stop switches for automation and specialty machines
Elobau Sensor Technology Inc. offers a line of e-stop switches for the automation and specialty machine market.
Elobau has added six styles of e-stop push buttons that address a wide range of specifications and applications to their line of e-stop switches. The 22.5 mm emergency stop buttons have all the necessary safety compliance ratings including EN 418, VDE 0660/Teil 200, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, EN/IEC 60947-5-5, CSA and UL approvals.
A variety of styles and options are designed to meet specific applications and installations including button ilumination, an IP69K type for high pressure wash down applications for food processing applications and a key-release type. Combined with a wide range of normally-open (N.O.) and normally-closed (N.C.) force-guided contact block configurations, virtually hundreds of different combinations of functionality and performance can be achieved.
The e-stop switches are rated for 1M cycles, electrical and mechanical. They are rated for 3A @ 240V/1.6A @ 480VAC.

Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.
There were the big events for the year, including the United States as Partner Country at Hannover Messe in April and the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago in September. There's also the matter of the U.S. presidential elections in November, which promise to shape policy in manufacturing for years to come.
But the year started with global economic turmoil, as a slowdown in Chinese manufacturing triggered a worldwide stock hiccup that sent values plummeting. The continued plunge in world oil prices has resulted in a slowdown in exploration and, by extension, the manufacture of exploration equipment.
