Josh Stauffer, 30

Lead Engineer, Panacea Technologies Inc., Montgomeryville, Pa.

BS Mechanical Engineering, Lehigh University

Josh Stauffer is a fan of the thrill. He and his fiancé are such big fans that Josh proposed to her at the top of the Griffon roller coaster at Busch Gardens (she said yes!). He chose to work in automation after graduating from Lehigh University because it offers a similar level of excitement. The industry is always changing and setting new standards, plus it reaches into just about every aspect of daily life. At Panacea, he leads up IT and has become the go-to for all things IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). His passion for IIoT and automation has led him to the forefront of many projects including creating the cloud infrastructure at Panacea. He is a firm believer that it is a collective social responsibility to deploy secure and safe process solutions, and he instructs Panacea’s incoming EIT class on the importance of cybersecurity. In his free time, Josh combines his love for technology and theme parks by building a fully automated scale model theme park.
