Remote power monitor
Eaton's Power Xpert Branch Circuit Monitor (PXBCM) is an advanced remote power monitoring solution that provides greater visibility of energy usage and enhanced control response to energy loads and circuits all the way down to the plug level. The electrical monitoring solution is designed to support improved power management and power usage efficiency in high-density industrial sites or across an entire enterprise. By combining advanced sensing, monitoring and reporting capabilities, the PXBCM provides remote access to live, circuit-level energy usage data for entire facilities. Reported data can be viewed and managed from a Web interface that provides overload alerts when circuits are close to exceeding acceptable power threshold levels.
Electrical communications, data acquisition solution
The flexible, expandable Power Xpert Gateway (PXG) 900 is an electrical communications and data acquisition solution that can be used in a small system consisting of a single piece of equipment or scaled up for multiple pieces of equipment or systems. The gateway may be installed in electrical assemblies or systems to acquire and consolidate data from components such as trip units, drives, and input/output devices. The gateway can be deployed as a data aggregation and notification solution for switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, transfer switches, and motor control centers. The PXG 900 can be paired with Power Xpert Insight software to view multiple gateways alongside other power systems equipment.
Real-time energy-usage dashboard
With an intuitive user interface, Eaton's Power Xpert Insight software provides a dashboard view into real-time energy usage, efficiency, and power quality for facility, energy, and information technology managers in industrial environments. The robust power and energy monitoring platform allows users to centrally or remotely view real-time energy usage and demand data down to the device level; view, compare, and trend data; and create one-line representations of electrical systems. The software builds on these capabilities with capacity management function planning tools, such as color-coded graphs, user-defined thresholds for cautionary, critical load levels, and trend graph simulation capabilities.
Programmable power supply
The EZAutomation Programmable Power Supply (EZPPS) series consists of ultra-compact, din-rail-mount, digitally programmable, industrial power supplies with built-in LED displays for diagnostics. EZPPS keeps track of the total number of hours it has been on, and, furthermore, provides an early warning alarm for preventive maintenance and replacement before the power supply dies a sudden death. The EZPPS series—with 24 Vdc output, ranging from 30 to 240 Watts—come equipped with two pushbuttons for simple field programming of its current limit. The EZPPS also has dc output monitoring capabilities via a PNP output that is useful for providing a visual alert of any short-circuit or overload condition.
Rackmount online UPS
Falcon Electric’s 4- to 6-kVA SSG rackmount online uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) carry UL 1778, UL 508, cUL listings, and CE certification for reliable, code-compliant operation over a wide temperature range (-4 to 131 F). The SSG delivers uncompromised power required by SCADA systems, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and networks. These models offer 10-yr rated batteries when installed in an ambient 77 F environment. When in higher temperatures up to 122 F, the user-replaceable batteries feature a 4-yr life. The SSG's high-performance batteries reduce costly replacements, servicing, and downtime—achieving a higher return on UPS investment.

Enterprise asset management software
The Infor enterprise asset management (EAM) Energy Performance Management software provides enterprise capabilities to enable on-going energy and sustainability management, performance and reduction planning, energy conservation, and demand management. The latest version of the software includes capabilities for establishing enterprise energy policy and programs, setting targets and objectives, and managing the deployment, performance, energy efficiency, and maintenance of company assets. These capabilities help prevent operational surprises and uncover hidden profits. The solution delivers equipment alarms as well as the data and real-time intelligence needed to take quick and precise action and escalate problems, when necessary, to the appropriate resources.
Compressed air management
Sigma Air Manager (SAM) 2 is a master control system for all compressed air equipment. Using cost-effective Ethernet connections, it brings the Internet of Things to industrial plants and delivers tangible benefits: a reliable, consistent supply of compressed air, stable system pressure, optimized energy efficiency, and real-time system monitoring. SAM 2's adaptive control selects the most efficient combination of units to meet the current plant demand. With its proprietary 3-D advanced algorithm, SAM 2 closely tracks and responds to system demand to deliver more stable plant air pressure while reducing wasteful idling, artificial demand, and leak losses.

The AEGIS uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is a 3-phase, true online double-conversion system that supplies clean, continuous, and reliable power to mission critical systems. One of the main advancements over its predecessor is the progression to the fifth-generation Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology for marked improvement in performance and reliability. This incorporation into the AEGIS resulted in lower power consumption and optimized efficiencies at all load levels. The AEGIS series is available in 80, 100, 150, 160, and 225 kVA. The efficiency curve for each model is flat, even at loads of less than 50%.
The SUMMIT Series uninterruptible power supply (UPS) incorporates silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors. SiC features higher switching frequencies and lower switching losses, which contribute to higher efficiencies and lower power consumption. Designed for data centers and other demanding mission critical applications, the SUMMIT Series is a 3-phase 500-kVA UPS true online double-conversion system that supplies clean, continuous and reliable power to systems sensitive to fluctuations common in utility power. The presence of the SiC semiconductors enables the SUMMIT Series to deliver efficiencies greater than 98% at 50% load with a maximum efficiency of 98.2% while operating in online double-conversion mode.
Variable-refrigerant flow units
The L-Generation Air Source variable-refrigerant flow (VRF) units improve efficiency using HexiCoil technology, a zinc-aluminum flat-tube heat exchanger with a unique fin shape. The coil's turbulated tube walls and optimized cross-section ensure maximum heat transfer with minimal power input. The bell mouth grill with a dc fan motor reduces static pressure while also minimizing power input. Up to 50% reduction in system refrigerant charge and an optimized refrigerant circuit design provides even fluid distribution. These features deliver significantly improved efficiency, particularly at part-load conditions. In addition, the L-Generation Air Source units offer installation flexibility and durability.

Health care facility energy management
The SmartStruxture Lite solution for health care helps small- and medium-sized health care organizations ensure positive patient experiences and enhances the quality of care while reducing operating expenses and environmental impact. Specifically designed to meet the needs of outpatient facilities, the solution uses Schneider Electric's application-specific room controllers and integrated building management system to address the needs of these smaller health care facilities. It provides small facilities with a state-of-the-art solution that is right-sized for outpatient facilities and assists facility managers with meeting health care regulations. Furthermore, it removes the complexity from building management technology that has typically been too robust and expensive for smaller-footprint facilities while enhancing patient comfort and lowering energy costs.
HVL/cb Metal Enclosed Switchgear combines a vacuum circuit breaker with a load-disconnect switch. At only 24 in. wide, 90 in. high, and 60 in. deep, the equipment offers advanced safety protection with an initial low cost offer for the market. With system voltages available up to 15 kV, up to 1,200 A for the main bus, 25 kA interrupting rating, and 95 kV for the BIL, the switchgear is ideal for a variety of applications. The HVL/cb houses the Evolis Breaker, designed with the same mechanism as the Masterpact breaker, and provides additional protection through the use of a relay device.
