-- Plant Engineering, 10/15/2008

Designed to pick up leaking valves in hydraulic systems and detect faulty bearings in motors, pumps and gears, among other applications, the Ultraprobe 3000 ultrasonic detection system features 400 memory locations to hold data. The digital instrument is equipped with a dynamic sensitivity range and has a spin-and-click sensitivity dial for adjustments and data storage. The unit’s 16-segment bar graphic display panel displays sensitivity level, storage location, storage location number and battery level. Other features include noise-isolating headphones and calibrated decibel readout.
