Chuck Nochumson remembered

-- Plant Engineering, 10/15/2008

The Nochumson family, Eaton Corp. and the electrical industry sustained a loss in Sept. when Chuck Nochumson passed away.

Nochumson began his career with Westinghouse/Eaton in 1965. Most recently, he was senior national applications engineer. Much of Eaton’s technical success can be tied to his expertise and dedication to continuous improvement.

Nochumson received an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana, and an MBA from Northwestern University. He received many awards over the years, including his induction in 2005 into the Hall of Fame for the Electrical Industry.

Nochumson contributed many articles to Plant Engineering magazine, and appeared on several successful Webcasts.

The electrical industry will certainly miss Chuck Nochumson and his dedication to his family, his company and his industry.
