Cycle actuators

-- Plant Engineering, 5/15/2008

High-duty-cycle actuators combine the torque of Valvcon ADC platform with brushless dc-motor technology. The actuator’s constant-charge internal batteries provide unlimited starts per minute and continued operation after the loss of line power. The actuators are available in NEMA 4, 4X, 7 and 9 enclosures that deliver 100% duty cycle in quarter-turn valve and damper applications. Designed for services such as on/off duty, analog proportional control applications and digital network control systems, the actuators feature hardened steel gears, standard ISO5211 mounting interfaces and handle torque requirements up to 3,000 inch/pounds.
