Polyurethane hose

-- Plant Engineering, 5/15/2008

Flx-Thane SD hose features a surface resistance of 108 -1010 Ohms/square inch to prevent static charges from building up. The bronze-coated spring-steel-wire helix drains charges to the ground and the hose is suitable for light bulk material transfer. The FDA acceptable material has a 0.030-inch thick wall and is compounded from static dissipative materials throughout, which allows it to operate over a temperature range of -65 to 225 F. The hose comes in 2- to 12-inch I.D., and 25- and 50-foot lengths.
