After 150 years, it’s still tool time at Klein

-- Plant Engineering, 5/15/2008

After 150 years in the tool business, Lincolnshire, IL-based Klein Tools hasn’t lost its commitment to quality – or its sense of humor.

As part of the company’s sesquicentennial celebration, Klein Tools has created a T-shirt with the 150th anniversary logo on the front. On the back, the short reads, “My Tool is 150 years old … and still works!”

Klein Tools was founded in Chicago in 1857 by blacksmith Mathais Klein. Today the company makes more than 3,800 different hand tools for a variety of applications.

More information about the company’s anniversary celebration is available at www.kleinconnection.com.
