Toyota Material Handling plants trees

-- Plant Engineering, 5/15/2008

Toyota Material Handling sponsored a tree planting at the Oso Lake Reservoir in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, on April 5. More than 100 volunteers, comprised of Toyota associates, scouts and unit leaders from the Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and representatives from the Arbor Day Foundation, worked to plant 100 24-gallon, 8-foot-tall trees at the county's popular recreational hub.

“We're very excited to have sponsored this tree planting and to have such a tremendous response from our associates, the boy scouts and the community,” said Shankar Basu, president and CEO of TMHU.
