Do you think outside the box? Send us your best Tips & Tricks

-- Plant Engineering, 5/15/2008

The best solutions to manufacturing problems don’t always come from inside a box. They come from the experience of the plant floor workers who use their knowledge to solve thorny problems with guile – and occasionally some other tools around the plant.

Plant Engineering’s annual Tips & Tricks issue will be published in August, and we’re looking for your best outside-the-box ideas that help your plant run better, safer, smarter and more efficiently. All ideas will be review, and the best ones will be published. Those selected for publication will receive an American Express Gift Cheque.

All Tips & Tricks entries must be received by Friday, June 27, to be considered for this year’s issue. Send your entries via email to Plant Engineering editor Bob Vavra at bob.vavra@reedbusiness.com. If there is a drawing or visual explanation of how your Tips & Tricks idea works, please include that in the email, or fax the information to (630) 288-8781.
