Medium-voltage drive

The Ampgard SC 9000 medium-voltage adjustable frequency drive is designed for use with induction or synchronous motors at 2.4-4.1 kV up to 5,000 hp. It can be supplied as a stand-alone drive or directly connected to other Ampgard products such as motor starters, load break switches and main breakers connected via a common bus. The drive’s phase-shifting isolating transformers and 24-pulse converter are coupled to a three-level inverter topology for lower harmonics.
