2007 Finalists Product of the Year

Your chance to help pick the best of the best

-- Plant Engineering, 11/15/2007

For 20 years, PLANT ENGINEERING’s Product of the Year award has been among the most coveted honors in manufacturing. One reason for that is the award is chosen by our readers. You have that opportunity again to choose from entries in 18 categories to determine the best new products of 2007.

In order to innovate effectively, plant managers and plant engineers need to evaluate their needs and make the best selection to help their plant grow and thrive. That’s what Product of the Year is all about. Your evaluation gives you a chance to review the latest ideas in manufacturing. You also can find some new ways to look at existing problems on the plant floor. It’s only one vote per category, but by the nature of PLANT ENGINEERING’s product evaluation process, all of the solutions on the pages that follow reflect new ways to address existing problems.

PLANT ENGINEERING readers eligible to vote for Product of the Year will receive a link to their electronic ballot this week via email. Just pick the products you think provide the greatest value in manufacturing, and we’ll total up the votes. No duplicate ballots will be accepted. The one product with the highest vote total will receive the Grand Award, won in 2006 by Baldor Electric Co.

The Product of the Year awards will be presented at PLANT ENGINEERING’s Manufacturing Summit on March 31, 2008 in Chicago.
