Cable tension device

Compatible with both automatic and manual door operation, the Cable Cop keeps the cable of loading dock doors on the drum. The unit’s cable pulley resides on a spring-tension pivot arm to keep the door cable taut. With automatic openers, the pivot arm senses slack in the door cable when the door is obstructed and triggers a limit switch to reverse the door’s direction of travel. In manual applications, the unit applies constant tension to keep the cable taut.
