Uninterruptible power supplies
By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 10/15/2007
TreStar P online double-conversion, three-phase uninterruptible power supplies are designed for use in critical loads. Up to eight modules can be installed in parallel for redundancy or additional capacity. The modules feature a digital control system that eliminates overloads, frequency variations, transients, flicker and blackouts in real time. They offer an output power factor of 0.9 with a vector-controlled IGBT inverter. The components are available from 125 kVA to 225 kVA and an input voltage range of 208 or 480 Vac, with a range of +15/-20%. Input frequency is 60 Hz and output is regulated to ±1% for balanced loads and ±3% for unbalanced loads.
