The IC11 intelligent RS-232 to RS-422/485 converter can be selected for half/full duplex and allows transmission distances of up to 4,000 feet. The converter accommodates data transfer rates of up to 120 kbps. Power is acquired directly from a computer’s serial port or by using the included USB-plug cable. Suitable for PC-based process monitoring and control, applications include chemical, petroleum, water and environmental industries.
