Updates to the Invertec V205-T AC/DC compact TIG power source include added circuitry in the stick crisp mode for improved welding performance, improved TIG arc starting, selectable start polarity and adjustable TIG strike current, a widened AC TIG start power range for minimizing tungsten erosion, redesigned power electronics for improved reliability and a voltage reduction device. The unit offers selectable wave shapes to tailor the arc performance specific to the welding application, and operators can choose a square wave shape, a sine wave or a triangular wave to fit the job. A DC-only model is also available.
