Siemens China, AIS strike deal on MES program

Siemens China and AIS have signed a cooperation agreement to implement a manufacturing execution system which includes production related supply chain management, advanced planning and scheduling and production tracking and control for the steel industry in China.

The partnership Siemens China/AIS is based on a joint collaboration for sales and implementation of SteelPlanner MES systems in China. The AIS Group, headquartered in Linz, Austria, is a leading supplier of planning and scheduling systems for the metals industry.
