Monitoring, control software

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 6/15/2007

CIMPLICITY 7.0 has been designed to handle complex, multi-user applications on multitasking operating systems. It provides tighter integration with the Proficy software family of products and features added CNC connectivity. Developer and operator productivity enhancements include improved OPC connectivity and configuration, enhanced security with password rules and added flexibility through right-mouse-button menu actions. CIMPLICITY 7.0 supports OPC-DA version 3.0, and a new user interface has been created for OPC client device communications to facilitate OPC-based point configuration.
