A new look and way to connect with online content

Staff -- Plant Engineering, 5/15/2007

With this month’s issue, you’ll see a new look to this page, and a new way to access the articles online. The PLANT ENGINEERING Live Website provides a way to stay on top of the latest news affecting manufacturing.

The new site features the latest in product announcement, research data and trade show news. There will also be stories related to the monthly issue of PLANT ENGINEERING that expands on the print themes. For example, the May issue of the magazine has a story on the recent Manufacturing Summit.

Among the other Website features:

  • Five Fast Things, an ongoing blog on key issues in manufacturing, written by PLANT ENGINEERING editor Bob Vavra
  • Talkback, which allows readers the chance to comment on stories in the magazine or on the Website, or on continuing issues and trends in manufacturing
  • Podcasts, a section of audio clips, brief insights from trade shows, events or other places where PLANT ENGINEERING editors gather information, giving you a chance to hear from industry experts
  • Our robust Webcast archive, featuring topics from power quality to arc flash.

“One of the most exciting things about the Website is that all the accumulated knowledge from PLANT ENGINEERING issues is available and searchable through Zibb, our exclusive search portal,” Vavra said.
