ISA wireless forum is July 23-24

ISA will sponsor a two-day conference, “Wireless Solutions for Manufacturing Automation: Insights for Technology and Business Success,” on July 23-24 at the Marriott Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC, Canada.

The program provides insight into the current state of wireless technologies for manufacturing and control systems. It is intended to drive an understanding of technology issues and business considerations on the best ways to deploy wireless solutions in manufacturing.

Program topics include:

  • An overview of wireless technology
  • The current state of commercialization of wireless solutions
  • The current state of standards for wireless solutions
  • Making the business case for implementing wireless solutions
  • Case histories of wireless implementations.

Open meetings of ISA-SP100 standards committees addressing wireless systems for automation will follow the conference on July 25-27.
