HART-compatible Foxboro Model 84S sanitary vortex flowmeters are designed for use in sanitary liquid, gas or steam pharmaceutical applications. The series provides accuracies of ±0.5% of reading with liquids, and ±1.0% of reading with gas and steam. The sanitary vortex is 3A-authorized per specification 28-03 and features a crevice-free design with no moving parts. The process-wetted parts are 316 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel, and finished to 3A 25 RA (0.5 micrometers) sanitary standards. They come in 2-inch and 3-inch sanitary line sizes (50 mm and 80 mm), common with sanitary applications, for flow rates ranging from 5.50 GPM to 648 GPM (0.346 L/s to 40.80 L/s).
