Online registration is under way for Manufacturing Summit

Staff -- Plant Engineering, 2/1/2007

In 24 hours, Jack Bauer can save the world. In the same 24 hours, the 2007 Plant Engineering Manufacturing Summit will help save manufacturers save money and time and raise the productivity on their plant floor.

Online registration is now open for the 2007 Manufacturing Summit on April 2 and 3 at the Hotel Sofitel, 20 E. Chestnut in Chicago, just a block from Chicago’s historic State Street. In just 24 hours, attendees of the Manufacturing Summit will know:

  • How manufacturing execution systems can drive new information throughout the plant enterprise, and put the power of that knowledge in the hands of the plant manager
  • Why wireless monitoring will provide you with better data and better control over the critical systems in your plant
  • What new ideas in energy efficiency will make sure you are squeezing every dollar out of your critical energy usage – including electricity, gas, compressed air and motors
  • The best new products of 2006 – all designed to make operating your plant more efficient than ever
  • The secrets of the 2006 Top Plant recipients – the best-in-class manufacturers who have received Plant Engineering’s highest honor
  • A first-class dinner in one of Chicago’s most elegant downtown hotels.

“Normally you’d have to take several days at a trade show to gather all this knowledge. Plant Engineering has put it all together for you in one place in just 24 hours,” said Plant Engineering editor Bob Vavra.

Schneider Electric president and CEO Dave Petratis will deliver the keynote at Monday night’s Plant Engineering awards dinner, honoring the Product of the Year and Top Plant recipients.

For full details, go to the conference Website by going to www.plantengineering.com and clicking on the Summit registration button.
