Tom Kopanski, is the new vice president of power distribution and controls division of Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. Raj Batra, vice president of the automotive and aerospace center of competence, succeeds Kopanski as vice president of the automation and motion division. The power distribution and controls division includes the circuit protection, controls and electrical apparatus business units. The division manufactures products to control and distribute the flow of electricity for the commercial and industrial construction markets. Kopanski assumes responsibility from Dennis Sadlowski, COO, who had been acting vice president of the division.
