Circular connectors

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 1/1/2007

Amphenol Industrial Operations offers RoHS-compliant circular connectors for general duty and environmental applications. The series of connectors are widely used in the automotive, robotics, heavy equipment, machine tool and welding industries. The connectors feature a wide variety of shell styles, contact patterns and accessory options; solder or crimp terminations; threaded couplings; hard dielectric inserts; and non-cadmium finishes. In addition, their shell components are fabricated from high-grade aluminum alloy to provide strength and environmental protection. The connectors are UL recognized and CSA certified. Their operating temperature is from -55 degrees C (-67 degrees F) to 125 degrees C (257 degrees F), and they have an operating voltage of up to 3,000 Vac rms at sea level.
