Discrete I/O modules for DeviceNet

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 12/1/2006

BradControl discrete I/O modules are suitable for use with material handling equipment and automated assembly machinery. The Classic 60-mm wide family of IP67 BradControl discrete I/O modules for DeviceNet comes in an eight-port, 16-channel format with a selection of I/O configurations supporting both PNP and NPN input devices. Each I/O module comes equipped with diagnostic LEDs, providing status information on network, power, inputs and outputs. The modules are easy to set using rotary MAC ID switches, support ADR and Quick-Connect, ODVA Group 2 Server Slave functionality and are ODVA-conformance tested. To facilitate input and output device wiring, the I/O modules accept standard, threaded M12 connectors or the new BradConnectivity Ultra-Lock connection system. The Ultra-Lock connection system provides a 'push-to-lock’ mechanism used to provide fast, simple and secure connections between the I/O module and the I/O devices. Modules are machine mountable.
