Compliant with the HART open communications protocol, the field device manager is designed to simplify configuration, diagnostics and maintenance of smart instruments. It supports vendor-created, unmodified DD files without requiring additional files or special software, as well as DD files registered with HCF. Host capabilities are based on HCF's SDC 625 standard HART host and DD IDE products. The unit comes preloaded with the latest DD files from HCF.
