Brady Website offers compliance information

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 10/1/2006

Brady’s new Website, www.bradyid.com, has been redesigned to offer access to company products, facilities and safety identification solutions.

The redesigned, U.S. version of bradyid.com allows customers and distributors to find the information and products they need at a single online source. It features the complete online Brady product catalog with the ability to search by part number, product name or description; easily accessible product specifications, tutorials and manuals; an RoHS Compliance Part Search feature plus important information about WEEE-RoHS compliance; a Printer Selection Guide to assist in identifying the right printer for an application; and the Legend Locator, which is designed to quickly find signs and labels by legend. Improved search and navigation tools make it easy to find specific information quickly.

For customers who must follow the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directives, the RoHS-Compliant Part Number search tool identifies products that meet RoHS compliance standards. Brady spent two years testing products that are affected by these new standards, which went into effect July, 1 2006.

To identify the RoHS compliance status of a particular part number, visit www.bradyid.com/weee-rohs.
