Cm3 connector

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 9/1/2006

The Cm3 connector has a low profile ideal for space-sensitive applications, significantly lower installation cost and is 50% smaller and lighter than conventional circular connector designs. The connector is completely sealed and shielded for high reliability and its simple harnessing reduces assembly and installation time in motor applications. Designed for motors with a flange size of 100 mm2 or less, the Cm3 series connectors provide a high degree of vibration and shock resistance. The connectors feature IP67 sealing, a housing that contains a single power insulator and three feedback insulators, each with six signal contacts, separated by metal shielded walls, two sealed entries for power and feedback cables and a first-make/last-break power ground contact electrically linked to the shell.
