Cordless drill/driver

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 8/1/2006

The PowerMaxx cordless drill/driver features a 4.8-V battery that drives up to 95 #10 x 1-inch screws on one charge. It is useful for assembly work, carpentry, electrical work or any other application that requires getting into tight spaces. The unit weighs only 1.5 lb and is ergonomically designed for user comfort and easy operation. The slim handle reduces user fatigue. The switch is designed for both right-and left-handed operation and the forward/reverse lever can be switched with just one finger. The magnetic ¼ inch hex tool holder provides a quick bit change, and the screwdriver converts to a drill in just seconds.
