IMTS prepares for biennial event in Chicago Sept. 6-13

The International Manufacturing Technology Show will host more than 1,200 exhibitors at Chicago’s McCormick Place on Sept. 6 through Sept. 13. IMTS, held every other year, is sponsored by Association For Manufacturing Technology and is expected to draw more than 85,000 buyers and sellers from 80 countries.

The show is organized in pavilions that focus on specific manufacturing products, including:

  • Abrasive Machining/Sawing/Finishing
  • Controls & CAD/CAM
  • EDM
  • Fluid Power
  • Gear Generation
  • Machine Components/Cleaning/Environmental
  • Metal Cutting
  • Metal Forming & Fabricating/Lasers
  • Quality Assurance
  • Tooling and Workholding Systems.

In conjunction with this event, The Society of Manufacturing Engineers and AMT have developed a comprehensive educational conference in the manufacturing community. Conference and registration information can be found at www.imts.com
