MESA conference to focus on manufacturing excellence

The Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association’s 2006 Plant to Enterprise conference will be at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando from Oct. 9–12. The theme of MESA’s 2006 conference is, “Solving the Puzzle of Manufacturing Excellence.” PLANT ENGINEERING magazine is a media sponsor of the MESA conference.
This year’s conference will focus on case studies, field experts and peer networking sharing experiences in using the people, processes and technology required to improve plant-to-enterprise interoperability. The keynote speaker will be Michael Treacy, one of the world’s leading experts on corporate strategies for growth, who will discuss innovation principles across the enterprise. Dr. Treacy is best known for co-authoring one of the best selling business books of the 1990s: “The Discipline of Market Leaders.”
Speakers from the Food and Drug Administration, the Automotive Industry Action Group, MESA analyst partners and several case studies from some of the leading companies of the world will continue the discussion of plant-to-enterprise issues and solutions. The day prior to the conference will feature training sessions from ISA, the World Batch Forum and the Open Applications Group.
