Gas-tight blowers

Staff -- Plant Engineering, 6/1/2006

Kaeser Compressors’ Omega G Series gas-tight rotary blowers feature double piston ring, hardened-steel gas and oil seals for reliable sealing and long service life. Seal vents may be piped back to suction or purged for single envelope, gas tight operation. The input shaft double lip seals with oil barrier prevent air ingress as well as fugitive gas emissions. The mounted and piped reservoir provides visual indication of seal condition. These units are for applications such as closed loop nitrogen systems. It is available in flows to 5,400 cfm at pressures up to 15 psi or vacuum up to 15-inch Hg.
