Electro-pneumatic transducer

Staff -- Plant Engineering, 6/1/2006

Converts milliamp input signals to a switch-selectable proportional pneumatic output signal for lower pneumatic supply consumption and reduced operating costs. The i2P-100 combines all ATEX and IECEx approvals onto one nameplate, enabling users that require ATEX approvals to select and mark the protection method (intrinsic safety, flameproof, or type n), upon installation of the unit. The need to specify the type of ATEX approval when ordering is no longer necessary, speeding the ordering process and simplifying installation. An integral pneumatic relay in the i2P-100 provides the high output capacity necessary to drive pneumatic control valve/actuator assemblies without additional volume boosters or positioners.
