Proper LOTO procedures detailed in white paper

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 6/1/2006

The issue of lockout/tagout procedures can be overlooked without attention to detail in all areas. That’s the subject of a white paper produced by Brady Corporation.

Entitled, “Proper Lockout/Tagout Procedures Result in Increased Safety, Improved Productivity and Reduced Costs,” the report by product manager Chris Rutter takes a detailed look at the LOTO issue, what the current federal regulations are concerning LOTO, and how companies can ensure the proper procedures are in place to cover every LOTO event.
