Metalform Mexico adds new programs

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 4/1/2006

New features, including a pavilion and promotional services, have been added to the 2006 Metalform Mexico trade show to address the needs of Mexico's manufacturing base as well as requests from exhibitors. The only event focused on metal stamping, tool and die, forming, fabricating and assembly in Mexico, will be Nov. 7 through No. 9 at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City.

Metalform has incorporated a new tooling technology pavilion into this year's trade show. The pavilion, which will provide a one-stop resource for parts and assembly manufacturers, elevates the importance of local and foreign-direct tool and die makers and suppliers.

Metalform Mexico is also taking a more aggressive approach in supporting the sale of equipment and services before the show. Through a dynamic and interactive "Show Special" web site, all exhibitors have the opportunity to develop a targeted landing page to promote their equipment. This free service is especially important for foreign exhibitors who may be hesitant to display equipment at the trade show due to shipping costs. Potential buyers and attendees will be able to access this web site four months prior to the show.

The show is sponsored by the Precision Metalforming Association, which represents the $41-billion metalforming industry of North America, and Trade Show Consulting, which has been producing shows in Mexico since 1992.
