Educational conference, executive form to highlight NA 2006 in Cleveland

An education conference featuring a free executive forum will highlight the opening of NA 2006, sponsored by the Material Handling Institute of America. The event at Cleveland's I-X Center will offer expertise from industry leaders on breakthrough achievements in high performance supply chains. In addition, more than 60 free show floor educational seminars, an RFID education center, two detailed educational workshops and a two and one-half day short course outlining leading-edge equipment and technology solutions will be offered during the NA 2006 Educational Conference.

Among the conference sessions:

Tuesday, March 28: Breakthrough Achievements in High Performance Supply Chains:

Featuring top supply chain executives from Lucent Technologies, The Limited and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the executive forum will detail how they successfully transformed their supply chain and the bottom line achievements they attained as a result. Topics will include strategic decision-making, assessing and managing risk; and how to define and measure the returns from capital investments in supply chain infrastructure.

In addition to the on-floor Seminars, NA 2006 will include detailed Workshops on Saturday and Sunday prior to the NA 2006 Show opening. These Workshops provide comprehensive coverage of traditional subject matter as well as leading-edge topics related to implementing lean supply chains, the concept of true accounting and realizing an organization's full performance.

A specially designed RFID Educational Center Theater will feature 45-minute focused presentations by sponsoring exhibitors. They will be demonstrating the latest technologies and trends for professionals wanting to learn more about incorporating RFID solutions into their operations.
