You're just a click away from getting connected

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 2/1/2006

Today, it's more important than ever to voice your views on the state of manufacturing, the role of the plant engineer and the issues that will shape the future of our industry. PLANT ENGINEERING offers a number of ways to participate in that dialogue electronically.

PE Poll

Each month, PLANT ENGINEERING's readers can go to www.plantengineering.com to participate in our monthly electronic poll. The results from the previous poll will be showcased on this page, and the next poll question will be revealed.

Letters to the Editor

Letters from our readers are a great way to continue the discussion about stories in the magazine as well as issues in the industry. It's through the exchange of ideas that problems are identified and solved. Letters to the editor are one important way readers participate in the content of the magazine.

Send letters to editor Bob Vavra at bob.vavra@reedbusiness.com. Letters should be 600 words or less.

Webcasts

Webcasts are a great way to learn about some of the issues in the industry without having to leave your office. They also offer a chance to ask questions of the presenters and gain specific insight into issues that affect your plant operation.

Webcasts are offered by PLANT ENGINEERING every other month, and the sponsored content provides a great educational tool for you and your plant workers. If you find a Webcast is useful, you can share it with others on your shift through our Webcast archive, available on the ERG page at www.plantengineering.com.

And what's coming next? The electronic community PLANT ENGINEERING brings together each month will soon have the ability to talk to each other through blogs and through other interactive programs. We'd welcome your suggestions on ways to create an effective interactive community for plant engineers and manufacturing professionals.
