Gasket industry's first trade show is March 29-31

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 12/1/2005

The Gasket Fabricators Association, with the endorsement of the Independent Sealing Distributors, will be sponsoring the first trade show ever devoted exclusively to the gasket industry. The Gasketing/Converting Expo '06 will be held March 29-31, 2006 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida.

Exhibitors will be manufacturers of gasket material, converting equipment, tooling, quality inspection equipment and software, and devices to compliment upstream or downstream processing. Providers of human resource, software, and merger and acquisition services are also expected to exhibit.

Technical sessions will be held in conjunction with the Expo, and will include presentations and panel discussions on equipment/quick die changeover techniques, tape/adhesives, and waste stream management and reduction. In addition, there will be a business session featuring a legislative/regulatory panel on industry issues presented by the National Association of Manufacturers and the National Association of Wholesalers.

To attend or exhibit at the Gasketing/Converting Expo '06, contact the GFA Office at (610) 971-4850 or info@gasketfab.com or the ISD Office at (410) 263-1014 or amurphy@isd.org.

Visit the GFA's web site, www.gasketfab.com, for more information.
