Chem Show offers new products, technologies

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 10/1/2005

New products and technologies, larger pavilions and a variety of educational conference sessions are among the features expected to attract more than 10,000 process industries professionals during the 2005 Chem Show, Nov. 1 through Nov. 3 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

"Visitors know they won't find such a vast array of new products and technologies in one location anywhere else in North America," said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Company, which produces and manages the Chem Show. "The high quality of new products and technologies on display, as well as our comprehensive conference program, keeps CPI professionals coming back year after year."

This year's conference will offer 19 sessions in four separate tracks:

  • Efficient bulk solids handling
  • Fluid separations, flow control
  • Sensing, automation, control
  • Keep your plant safe, compliant and efficient

Carolyn Merritt, chairman and CEO of the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, will deliver the keynote on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 9:15 a.m.

Stevens said the conference program is designed to address as many topics as possible that are important to the CPI professional, including both broad-scope industry topics and specific subjects. "It's a great opportunity for exhibitors and attendees to learn more about some of the technologies, products and trends being talked about on the show floor," Stevens emphasized.

PLANT ENGINEERING magazine is one of the endorsing publications of the Chem Show. For information on attending or exhibiting at the Chem Show contact Mark Stevens at (203) 221-9232, fax (203) 221-9260 or visit www.chemshow.com.
