RFID enhances CMMS

MicroMain XM with RFID is a CMMS with integrated radio-frequency identification (RFID) capability. Plants can use RFID in addition to, or in place of, bar codes for maintenance management, particularly in asset tracking, asset maintenance history, and asset inspections. Unlike bar codes, RFID does not require line-of-sight between tag and reader. Data can be stored on asset tag.
