Get teed off
Problem: Wood screws in hinges and other hardware work loose and strip out holes. Is there a quick and easy way to repair the damaged holes in doors and other wood pieces?Solution: Remove the loose screw. Drive a wooden golf tee into the stripped out frame. Score and break off the protruding tee head. Drill a pilot hole, if necessary, and reinstall the screw.

Tell-tale dipstick
Problem: When checking oil levels in equipment it is sometimes hard to see where the oil is on the dipstick. Is there a way to tell where the oil level is, especially in dimly lit areas?
Solution: When the
dipstick is removed, lay it on a paper towel and roll it over halfway. Oil will
be deposited on the paper towel, making it easy to see the level.

Bus buddy
Problem: Installing and aligning electrical bus duct can be a problem. Is there a way to do this without a lot of manpower and tools?
Solution: Cut four pieces of angle iron and drill holes to match the duct and holes for threaded rod. Attach the angles to both sides of the duct. The threaded rod and nuts can be used to adjust the duct.
