Reed launches regional plant shows

Staff -- Plant Engineering, 12/1/2002

Reed Exhibitions, producers of National Manufacturing Week and other market-leading industrial events, announces plans to significantly expand its presence in the U.S. manufacturing event marketplace to include regional event franchises in targeted cities throughout the U.S. The events will specifically serve the complex needs of Plant Engineers and Facilities Managers. Reed Exhibitions currently owns and produces the market-leading National Plant Engineering & Facilities Management Show, held in March in Chicago, which is a part of National Manufacturing Week.

To date, Reed Exhibitions has launched two events. They are: the Minnesota Plant Engineering & Facilities Management Show to be held Sept 9-10, 2003, at the Minneapolis Convention Center and the San Diego Plant Engineering & Facilities Management Show to occur Sept 23-24, 2003, San Diego Convention Center, in San Diego, CA.

In addition to these two events, Reed Exhibitions has identified 25 additional locations for Plant Engineering & Facilities Management events in all major US markets. Negotiations are currently well underway with the respective venues to secure dates for these additional events.

Each event will feature manufacturers and suppliers who serve the diverse and complex needs of the plant engineer and facilities manager.
