Energy guide labels for electric motors highlight energy cost and potential savings from using premium-efficiency motors. The label lists the type and speed of the motor to which it is attached and provides a comparison of the motor's rating to the rating of an average installed motor. Motor rides through power sags

Ac motors replace dc motors

Motor load monitor measures shaft power
The Digital Load Monitor measures a motor's rotor shaft power. It measures the actual motor load for a 3-sec interval, then automatically sets an alarm level. It has three monitors in one — overload, underload, and an over and underload. The prealarm provides an alarm before the main alarm actuates to prevent unnecessary process interruptions.
