Revised web site from Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., (www.sbt. siemens.com) offers information on the company's building management solutions. More than 1000 pages of product information and support services are available, including technical documents, mini-online demonstrations, and a virtual campus with training offerings.

Fieldbus Foundation has established an internet FTP site (ftp://ftp.fieldbus.org) to distribute registered Foundation Fieldbus device descriptions (DD). Site provides a central source from which users can obtain up-to-date copies of the latest registered DD data files on demand.

Expanded Chromalox web site (www. chromalox.com) includes the company's entire catalog of more than 8000 products. Tutorial information backed up by more than 1.3 million active drawings helps visitors find answers to questions on pumps, controllers, fluids, material compatibility, corrosion, wire sizing, thermocouples, and more. Navigation tools make information easy to locate from numerous points on the site.

Honeywell Hi-Spec Solutions has introduced MySkills web-based distance learning solutions (www. myplant.com) on its process-industry community site. Package offers comprehensive training on the fundamentals of industrial plant process operations. It includes information on a wide variety of courses and materials available for use by subscription or download.

Tektronix now has an interactive Rambus technology site (www.tektronix.com/rambus) dedicated to the test and measurement of this technology. Online resource provides quick and easy access to critical Rambus test and measurement implementation information. A 41-page comprehensive handbook may be downloaded.

Affiliated Distributors is launching an integrated supply and e-business solution (www.supplyFORCE.com). The new company hopes to become a leading provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions for the industrial and construction industries. The web site is scheduled to go live next month, offering customers access to more than 2 million products as well as value-added services.

Plant engineers looking for ways to connect the shop floor with ERP systems will find help at www.MESA.org . The web site for MESA, International, a nonprofit association serving the manufacturing operations and management community, provides educational leadership on the application of manufacturing execution systems (MES). Site offerings include industry briefs that outline MES use in specific vertical industries.

An online cross-reference guide now part of the Schroeder Industries web site (www.schroeder-ind.com) simplifies filter element replacement. An element search lets users match some 11,000 filter elements from 45 manufacturers with Bestfit replacements. Users can enter either the manufacturer's name or part number.

Wavetek (www.wavetek-precision. com) now offers a new pay-per-procedure service on its web site. Feature now makes it easier for users of the company's Portocal-II or 9010 automated calibration software to access calibration procedures. When users encounter an instrument they have not calibrated before, they now can access a library of more than 2000 tested and documented procedures. Simple-to-use search engine lets users find procedures for specific instruments by selecting manufacturers or model numbers. Purchases may be charged online to major credit cards.
