How clean is your oil?

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 1/1/2000

A custom analysis service for monitoring fluid cleanliness combines a state-of-the-art laboratory with trending capabilities in an effort to avert potential contamination problems and increase machine uptime. Each sample kit is returned with a 3-p fluid analysis report detailing count size distribution, ISO cleanliness code, and chart comparing particle size versus number of particles/ml greater than size. The 100X magnification photomicrograph depicts the nature and size of contaminant present.
