Cryogenic pump seal has long life and low cost

Type 285 non-contacting bellows seal is for cryogenic pumps in process applications, such as liquid argon, nitrogen, and oxygen. It provides advanced reliability, long service life, and dramatic cost advantages over conventional contacting seals because it operates on a gas film. The design merges spiral groove technology with a welded metal bellows.
