Compressor operates in high ambient temperatures

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 11/1/1999

QSF rotary screw air compressor has oversized coolers to allow operation in 110-F ambient conditions. A triple-lip shaft seal system virtually eliminates fluid leakage. A tangential lubricant separation system minimizes fluid carry-over. Gear driven, direct coupled, asymmetrical rotor profiles produce 238-730 cfm at horsepower ranging from 50-150.
