1998 Product of the Year Winners

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 4/1/1999

Our 46 "Product of the Year" winners combine the ever-changing nature of the plant engineering marketplace with the practicality of what it takes to get the job done.

In our November 1998 issue, we presented the 150 finalists in this competition, and asked our readers to select the products that they found to be most useful and innovative. The Grand Award, pictured below, was the overall choice for best new product of 1998. Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in each of our 15 product categories are listed on the following pages.

Awards were presented March 15, 1999, at a black-tie reception during the National Plant Engineering Show in Chicago.

For additional information on the competition and a more detailed look at the winners, see the November 1998 issue. For information on a winner, circle the number provided with each product.

To find out how to enter your new product in our 1999 competition, please call Pat Mustari at 630-320-7134; e-mail patm@cahners.com.
