Readers object to "politically correct" response

By Staff -- Plant Engineering, 4/1/1999

I enjoy your Human Side of Engineering column. However, your February Human Side revealed a side to you that bothers me.

I'm sure that Donna Goya of Levi Strauss would take great delight to know that Mr. Marshall has decided to reflect her morals in his policy-making decisions. Undoubtedly, her wisdom shall survive countless ages.

If Ed Marshall had some concrete to his morals, rather than jumping on the politically correct bandwagon, he would have done the right thing and rejected Al Graham's request.

I can certainly see that your publication has decided to join the crowd and dive into the cesspool of immorality sweeping across this nation. -- Mark Warren
